I am in my mid 20's and have AA in Journalism and a BA in Communications recently acquired – I feel I do not belong in the traditional way of Journalism (so now I'm trying to be a paralegal). I am a paralegal. I have a degree in journalism. I also have a paralegal certificate on top of conclusion. This is what is needed here in Los Angeles area. Why not try to call some agency office in New York and see what do they recommend you. It is advisable to look to get you a certificate from an ABA approved paralegal school. A journalism degree is a perfect backdrop for the race. There is a lot of legal reading, writing and research. It's a good job, pays well and is very rewarding. Good luck to you!
