Are these symptoms normal while on Depo-Provera Shot or should I be worried?
My last Depo Shot was in October. I was spotting from around Dec. 23 until Dec. 28, figured it was my menstrual. Problem is since around the 29th (after spotting stopped) I stared having cramps, persistent dull lower back ache, nausea, depression and occasional aching in my breasts though they are not tender to the touch. My hands have also been swollen on and off and I’ve been urinating a lot (i’ve even had to get up in the middle of the night/early morning a couple times and this is not normal), Fluttery feeling in lower abdomen, some minor pelvic pain, gassy (sorry tmi), Exhausted. It’s almost as if I’m having PMS after my menstrual. This is my sixth month on the Birth control injection and I’m wondering if this is normal? btw I took a couple pregnancy tests just to be sure, one on monday and one this morning, both negative. Anyone have any clue what this could be or if I should be worried?
The side effects of the Depo shot are just the same as pregnancy symptoms. Sound normal, but if you are worried, go and have a blood test done. I was on the depo shot for 9 months and i thought i was pregannt because the side effects are the same. Well when i went to the doctor and talk to him about it, he said its normal.
Good luck to you:)-
